Minister of Music
Keith Butler began his music career at the tender age of 7, in Chicago, Illinois. Keith realizes that with God all things are possible and this is demonstrated through his exuberant energy as he stands before God and His people. Keith has taught workshops and vocal training sessions all over the State of Illinois and abroad. He taught in the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Chicago Chapter, which led to extensive travels teaching church music departments about music ministry – presenting such topics as “Proper/Improper Music for Worship Services”, “Choir Etiquette, Decorum and Appearance” and “Roles of Directors, Musicians, and Choir Members”.Keith is the Executor and Founder of the Delegation for Christ Chorale. DFCC released their debut CD in 1999 entitled “He’s Been Good to Me”.Keith Butler & DFCC ministered all over the country with some of gospel’s greatest – Beverly Crawford, Richard Smallwood, Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, the late O’landa Draper & The Associates, the late Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers, Ricky Dillard & New G, Angela Spivey & the Voices of Victory, Rev. Darryl Coley, Rev. John P. Kee & The New Life Community Singers, Mark Hubbard & the United Voices for Christ, Witness, Canton Spirituals, Ethel Holloway, Lamarr Campbell & The Spirit of Praise, Malcolm Williams & Voices of Great Faith, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kim Stratton, J. Moss and others. Keith is married to his beautiful wife, LaTonya, has three lovely daughters; JaKarra, Alyssa and LaVonia and a grandson, Amauri. Keith is the Minister of Music and member of the Greater Pure Light Church of Houston, TX.
